9 March 1943 Channel Islands Sea Defence diary
Weather: wind 80°, 4 m/sec. Alert State I was lifted with immediate effect by the 319th Infantry Division.
Harbour-protection position 8 off Jersey could not be manned during the night of 9/10 March. At 17:30 FK 23 destroyed a mine west of La Corbière, Jersey. Ammunition expenditure: 85 rounds 2-cm and 300 rounds machine-gun ammunition.
