Bunkers at Night Tour
Join Phil & Kimberley on an evening tour of WW2 German bunkers at Batterie Lothringen, many of which are not usually open to the public. Visiting in the evening gives the fortifications a whole new feeling and atmosphere. You can spend the day enjoying Jersey's attractions and then see the Island's Second World Fortifications in a different light. The tour will show you how Jersey was made into an impregnable fortress & share with you stories from the battles, raids, escapes and resistance. The tour is a perfect complement to understanding the history of D-Day, which took place less than 30 miles away. We use Multimedia and give you the chance to handle real WW2 weapons and artefacts. Early booking recommended. All profits made are invested back into our work.

This bunker is arguably the best-preserved original-condition WW2 fortification to survive. This small but mighty bunker is a time capsule that is well worth a visit.

Normandy Trips - 2027
Jersey is just 15 miles from the Normandy coast, and our introductory Second World War tour offers a thoughtful journey across some of the key locations of Operation Overlord and the Battle of Normandy. Travelling along the Normandy coastline, we will visit D-Day landing beaches, where the remains of bunkers still stand. The tour also includes US Paratrooper landing sites at Carentan and the area around Sainte-Mère-Église, where the ‘Band of Brothers’ fought as part of the airborne assault. Standing on these landscapes so close to Jersey offers a deeper understanding of the Battle of Normandy and the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and determination of Allied personnel.
We are in the final stages of logistics and will likely depart from St Helier for Granville, Normandy. Updates are expected late January.
