9 August: Jersey harbour commandant orders four boats to escort Mazagan and Vouloir to Granville at 22:00, then proceed to Saint-Malo. 21:40: boats cast off. 22:00: took over convoy and proceeded under M 4600's commander. Wind W 3–4, sea 3–4, good visibility. Formation in original. Signed Ertel.
