Remarks: the deficiencies recorded in Channel Islands convoy traffic repeatedly concern the same points: harbour commandants acting contrary to orders, specifically Alderney, page 8, 5 July 10:00; inadequate lock service, page 9, 6 July 00:55, page 15, 10 July 05:40, and page 20, 12 July 23:30; inadequate planning and late notification of convoys, page 18, 12 July 08:45.
