8 April 1943 Channel Islands Sea Defence diary

Weather: wind 45°, 7 m/sec. Batterie Strasbourg conducted muzzle-velocity firing with all four guns from 14:00 to 18:00 on 6 April and from 10:00 to 20:30 on 8 April. Ammunition expenditure: 75 rounds 22-cm, including one premature burst of unknown cause. There were no casualties or damage. From 22:15 to 23:08, the 7.5-cm guns of Batterie Mirus conducted test firing; 12 rounds 7.5-cm were fired.
