Weather: W–NW fresh to strong breeze, overcast, moderate visibility, slight to moderate sea. V 207/V 208 returned Alderney–Guernsey with Adolphe le Prince, remained ready by day and escorted Holland and Adolphe le Prince via Jersey to St Malo during the night of 5/6 March. V 211/V 212 towed V 205 from Alderney to Cherbourg for docking. Under the 3rd Security Division’s orders, V 210/V 206 went without convoy to Guernsey to escort H 7 and H 8 to Cherbourg.
Situation: V 207/V 208 Alderney–Guernsey with Adolphe le Prince, then Guernsey–Jersey with Schockland, Adolphe le Prince and Holland. V 211/V 212 ready Cherbourg. V 210/V 206 St Malo–Guernsey, then ready. V 204 boiler cleaning; V 209/V 213 ready St Malo. V 205 unfit for service at Cherbourg with propeller damage. Escorted tonnage: 2,277 GRT.
Intention for 6 March: V 207/V 208 Guernsey–St Malo with troop convoy Holland, Adolphe le Prince, Schockland, Claus Wilhelm and Holstein; V 207 subsequently to Brest. V 211/V 212 Cherbourg–Alderney, escorted vessels not yet known. V 210/V 206 Guernsey–Cherbourg with H 7/H 8. V 204 boiler cleaning. V 209/V 208 ready St Malo, night troop convoy with H 13 and Robert Müller 8 to Jersey, R 45 to Guernsey. V 213 ready St Malo, then Brest; V 205 damaged Cherbourg.
