31 October 1941 Alternative date for assumption of island group command

Editorial note: The earlier Roll 1603 translation gives 9 October for this assumption of command; this expanded edition gives 4 October. This is a translation discrepancy, not a second change of command. The original has not been retranslated here.

The commander of 319 Division assumed command of the island group on 4 October under an advance signal; Higher Command LX issued the detailed order on 10 October.
