31 January 1943 Returns on fortification progress Annex 23

Draft corps instruction to the 716th, 709th, 165th and 319th Divisions.

1. The fortification-progress returns are to be reported by telephone every Saturday by 12:30, beginning on 6 February.

2. On the 1:25,000 maps, enter only the numbers of the resistance nests or the designations of the strongpoints and the column numbers, without the text of the column headings.

3. Telephone the figures for columns 3–12, 14 and 15. Columns 3 and 4 concern all permanently installed weapons; the other relevant columns concern heavy weapons only.

4. Column 13 is to be reported only when the composition changes.
