Legend abbreviations: M. Det., mine detonation; Gr. Det., grapnel detonation; Ortung, detection; Gerät aus/ein, gear deployed/recovered. “To be laid over German chart 277.” Positions are those reported by flotilla; division and higher command later disputed the plotted locations.
