3 August 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary

Cloudy, visibility 10 nautical miles, SW 2, sea 1. 0550: HS 183/192 returned from patrol. 0945: HS 12/135 departed for Les Casquets; returned at 1240. 2030: Vp 712/08 released Weber, two tugs, one netlayer and two barges from escort, then continued with Schwalbe to Guernsey. 2320: HS 12/135 went to patrol position.
