Secret. Organisation of the Naval Commander, Northern France. Military reasons have made a new division of naval command areas in France necessary. The Northern France area is bounded by the Somme in the east and the Couesnon in the west. Besides the coastal area, it includes Rouen harbour and the British Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.
