Weather: wind from 270°, 1 metre per second. 05:50: No. 2 gun of 5./1265 ready to fire again. 07:06–07:09: Batterie Elsass fired on two enemy Spitfires at 1,800 metres' altitude and 1,500 metres' range [figures retained as printed]. Some fuselage hits reported. No enemy counteraction; no German losses. Ammunition expenditure: seventy 2-cm rounds.
19:20: No. 1 gun of 2./1265 ready to fire again. Propellant-cartridge reworking at Batterie Mirus complete. Inserts and firing tables received for all Mirus charge and shell types.
