Weather: wind from 300°, 6 metres per second. 11:20: No. 1 gun of 2./1265 unavailable for approximately 48 hours for overhaul.
11:12–11:20: Guernsey naval radar I fired with 2-cm Oerlikon at nine enemy aircraft, probably Lightnings, flight direction 4–12, range 1,000–1,500 metres, altitude 300 metres. Hits reported in the propulsion and tail assemblies of one aircraft. The engaged aircraft turned in direction 7–8 and lost considerable height. [Direction numerals retained as in the source.] No enemy counteraction; no German losses. Ammunition expenditure: 173 rounds of 2-cm Oerlikon ammunition.
