Batterie Mirus: Organisation Todt continued constructing the earth embankments at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 guns and at the fire-control post. Excavation for the third anti-aircraft gun began. Work on the principal water main resumed and road construction continued. Drainage work at the cable shafts of Nos. 3 and 4 guns progressed; no work had been carried out at No. 2 during the preceding week.

Batterie Strasbourg: removal of shuttering from the fire-control post was complete and installation work made good progress. Splinter protection at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 guns was complete; the shuttering for the splinter protection at No. 4 was ready for pouring.

Batterie Steinbruch: the machinery house had been poured. The structure at No. 4 gun was shuttered and reinforced ready for pouring. Shuttering was removed from the fire-control post and the reinforcement cleaned with compressed air. Siemens installed electric lighting in all bunkers. Excavation of the reserve-ammunition bunker was almost complete.

Batterie Lothringen: excavation of the fire-control post continued. Rock excavation for the new searchlight position was complete, as were the bedding and rail system; the crew room had been poured. Wiring of the battery continued. Two aircraft-cover trenches at each of the two 7.5-cm guns were complete.
