27 April 1943 Air attacks on Les Casquets and an island convoy

Lieutenant Albersmann reports to Seventh Army, NCO Lindner. Les Casquets reports through the Alderney harbour commandant: air attack on Les Casquets at 17:10; twenty-three aircraft approached on a westward course. Alderney island command adds that no details are yet known.

At 17:25, Commander Jersey reports an air attack by approximately twenty-five aircraft on a Granville–Guernsey convoy. One ship is burning and proceeding under its own power into Saint Helier harbour. The rest of the convoy has also turned towards Saint Helier.
