Weather: N–NE fresh to strong wind, moderate sea, visibility three to five nautical miles. 03:30: V 209/12 night Guernsey–St Malo [Jersey in the situation]. UJ 1411/04 are ordered to undertake the Jersey–Guernsey night convoy at 21:30. Cherbourg–Alderney convoys cancelled owing to weather; no further tasks.

Situation: V 209/12 Bordsee, H 49 and Nordplein Jersey–St Malo, then ready; V 207 ready Cherbourg; V 213 unready Cherbourg; V 206/10 ready St Malo, replenish coal and stores; V 1510/704 ready Cherbourg; V 204/11 ready Cherbourg; V 205 dock; V 208 ready St Malo; UJ 1404/11 at 21:00 Jersey–Guernsey night Holland and Rheinland troop convoy, arriving 01:15 [the next day corrects Rheinland to Schockland]. Escorted tonnage 4,000 GRT.
