25-26 June 1944
On the night of 25/26 June the Alderney Artillery Group maintained radio contact with Battery 1./1262 on the Jobourg peninsula. The wider diary records continued enemy small-craft activity and German attempts to support and communicate with the remaining forces around Cherbourg and Jobourg through the Channel Islands command.
