25 July 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary

Cloudy with fog, visibility half a nautical mile, SSW 3–4, sea 2–3. 0045: Georgi, Lena, Tinda, Antonius, Weber and HS 12/135 arrived from Cherbourg; Vp 202/203 went to patrol position. 0605: HS 192 returned from patrol. 0630: Vp 708/712 arrived from Guernsey with Holland, Irene and RO 21. 0720: Vp 708/712 departed for Cherbourg with Heinrich, Schwalbe, Franka, Holland and Meteor. 0730: Vp 202/203 returned from patrol. 1725: HS 7/206 arrived from Guernsey; departed there at 2000. 2245: Vp 202/203 departed for Guernsey with Georgi and RO 21, carrying naval barge crews relieved by Dutchmen. 2310: HS 183/192 went to patrol position.
