The St Malo Convoy Control Office diary for 16–31 December 1942 is submitted with 3rd Security Division's comments. Concerning 23 December, 1413, page 18: the bombing attack on St Malo lock again demonstrates the urgency of restoring the small lock and the need to keep alternative ports fully operational. Concerning 26 December, 2300, page 22: Admiral Channel Coast has been asked once more to remind the Sea Commanders, Channel Islands and Normandy, that all intended departures must be communicated promptly to St Malo Convoy Control Office, including movements of harbour-defence boats.
