A north-easterly storm, rough to high seas and driving snow forced postponement of the intended convoys for 24 hours.
Situation: V 208/V 213 ready Cherbourg; V 205/V 206 and V 210/V 207 ready St Malo, departures delayed by driving snow. V 211 boiler cleaning St Malo. V 209 repairs at Cherbourg; V 204 magnetic-protection repairs there. V 212 ready St Malo. Escorted tonnage: dash.
Weather-dependent intention for 25 February: V 208/V 213 from Cherbourg 05:00 with Claus Wilhelm, Schwalbe and, if possible, two tugs and two barges to Alderney; at 22:00 returning with Claus Wilhelm, Gerfried, Franka and two tugs. V 205/V 206 from St Malo with H 2 and Robert Müller 8 for Jersey, returning with Holstein, B 113 S and two barges. V 210/V 207 from St Malo without convoy to Jersey, then Diamant and Hubbastone to Granville; depart Granville 15:00 with troops in Favorit for Jersey, Claus Wilhelm for Guernsey and RO 8 for Alderney.
