Cloudy, visibility half a nautical mile; SE 0–1, calm sea, occasional moonlight. 0005: Enemy units passed three nautical miles off the harbour entrance; direction of movement unknown. [Time confirmed by the headquarters quotation in scan 0368. See the review dated 1 June 1942, which challenges the completeness and reporting of this entry.] 0021: HS 35 departed for patrol position. 0050: HS 16/193 arrived from Guernsey. 0430: HS 35 returned; nothing to report. 1130: Vp 704/1510 with Claus departed for Cherbourg. 1720: HS 16/183 departed for Guernsey. 1950: Vp 201/206 arrived from Longy Bay. 2110: HS 192 departed for patrol position.
