Clear, NE 1–2, hazy, sea 1. 0035 and 0125: Fast boats Nofretete and Elbe, requested to evacuate the wounded, arrived from Cherbourg. Departure times recorded alongside the next entry are 0125, a smaller inserted 0225, and 0725. The boats departed for Cherbourg with five seriously wounded and ten moderately or lightly wounded men. The remaining lightly wounded were returned to the patrol boats. [The overwritten departure times cannot be assigned confidently to individual boats.] 0520: HS 3/12 returned from patrol. 0600: HS 29/188, Jeanne d’Arc, Michael and Pirat departed for Guernsey. 1010: Vp 211/213 departed for Cherbourg with Georgi. 2245: HS 183/192 went to patrol position.
