21 February 1943 Channel Islands Sea Defence diary
Weather: wind 45°, 5 m/sec. A large lead-capped mine, with four horns above and four below, washed ashore on the north coast of Herm. A demolition party from the naval artillery arsenal (Maza) destroyed it.
