Weather: wind 360°, 5 m/sec. No. 3 gun of Army Coastal Battery 356, Jersey, was again operational.
17:30. Report of barrage firing by Artillery Group Alderney from 10:42 to 10:46 during an inspection by the Commanding General. Ammunition expenditure: Batterie Elsass, six 17-cm high-explosive shells, source designation “Sprgr. Gr. L/4;7 Kz” (punctuation retained); Batterie Blücher, sixteen 15-cm practice shells with percussion fuzes (Az).
