2 November, 00:57: several red stars at true bearing 330°. 01:10: Point 332. 01:55: gunfire true 340°, toward Guernsey. 02:15: radio 0219/12 orders M 4600 to Jersey, measures arranged by escort office. 02:34: reversed. 02:35: IG firing true 350°, toward Guernsey. 03:02: Point 332. 03:10: SW 1–2, sea 1, moderate visibility. 04:22: Ida 5. 04:55: M 4601 entered Saint Helier with convoy. 05:05: M 4600 anchored Saint Aubin's Bay. 07:19: weighed. 08:00 [hour clipped]: secured. Harbour commandant relays order to take Tourane to Granville this evening and enter there. 18:31: cast off. 19:00: collected convoy under M 4600. 19:51: Ida 11. 21:40: Le Pignon abeam, SW 4–5, sea 2–3, good visibility. 21:55: released Tourane. 22:01: boats secured Granville. Three other boats normal readiness there.
