Clear, visibility 7–8 nautical miles; W 1–2, calm sea. 0635: HS 25/39 returned from patrol; nothing special. [Numbers as typed.] 1000: HS 7/Hurtig arrived from Guernsey carrying General Müller, commander of 319th Infantry Division, and his staff to inspect the island’s units and fortifications. 1545: HS 183/192 arrived from Cherbourg. 1720: HS 7/Hurtig departed for Guernsey with General Müller and staff. 2240: HS 29/35 departed for patrol position.
