Weather: SW–W fresh breeze to strong wind, visibility 5–10 nautical miles, moderate to rather rough sea. V 204/V 209 sail overnight Cherbourg–Alderney and return to Cherbourg with Midsland, remain ready during the day, then sail overnight with Livadia, Schwalbe and Claus Wilhelm; return without convoy via Alderney and from there take Gerfried to Cherbourg. [The itinerary is clarified in the situation list as Cherbourg–Guernsey with the three vessels, then Guernsey–Alderney without convoy.] V 208/V 211 sail overnight with troops in Holland, Claus Wilhelm and Holstein as far as Jersey.

Situation: V 213 condenser repair Brest; V 212 and V 210/V 206 ready St Malo; V 204/V 209 on the Midsland return and the Livadia, Schwalbe and Claus Wilhelm convoy via Guernsey and Alderney, then Gerfried to Cherbourg; V 208/V 211 ready St Malo, overnight Claus Wilhelm, Holland and Holstein with troops to Jersey; V 205 dock Cherbourg; V 207 Brest. Escorted tonnage: 7,094 GRT.
