3 August, 12:55: fifteen enemy aircraft passed 10 km west of Guernsey at low altitude; antiaircraft fire shot down one. Objects dropped were observed, apparently food supplies. 2 August, 22:30: a twin-engined enemy bomber was shot down near Omonville, 20 km west of Cherbourg, and burnt out; one wounded crewman recovered. 4 August, 15:10: two aircraft attacked the station at Le Ham, 8 km southeast of Valognes, with onboard weapons; no damage; ground antiaircraft fire had no visible effect. 11 August, 08:25: a single-engined aircraft over Barfleur, 26 km east of Cherbourg, was effectively engaged from three strongpoints by antiaircraft artillery and infantry weapons. A crash at sea was likely but not observed.
