Night 17/18 April. Wind ENE–NE2–3, visibility 3–5 nautical miles, sea 1. Guernsey II tracked unknown targets 2304–2318 from left-edge centre BF3547 to lower centre 3547, course 110°, speed 18 knots. One unknown-target signal 2309. Targets classified as false contacts 2335. Jersey radar tracked own E-boats Brest–Jersey at 18.2 km. Cap Fréhel radar tracked two own E-boats Brest–St Malo at 14.6 km. All detections passed to Brittany Radar Centre from 0635.
