16 June. M 422, M 442, M 452 and M 444 under flotilla commander sailed St Peter Port 0230 for St Malo, SW force 2–3, sea state two, moderate visibility. M 452’s propeller caught harbour barrier, could not immediately be freed and remained behind. Others secured St Malo 0800.
