Lothringen naval battery. Four 15 cm SK L/45 guns; for close defence, two 7.5 cm field guns, pivoting guns covering the bay, and six 2 cm Oerlikons. Close defence of the firing position, including on the landward side, is assured. One battery gun is employed for illumination. Two accommodation bunkers are available for gun crews.
The Commander-in-Chief described the battery as an important strongpoint of the southern front.
