15 November 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary
Overcast, E 3–4, visibility 1–2 nautical miles, slight sea. 0415: Vp 207/12 departed for Guernsey with Karel. 0815: FK 08/21 returned. 1050: Combat readiness, Alarm I without Red cancelled. Until further notice the alert is to take effect every evening at 1800 and be cancelled at daybreak. After the buoy rope was cut away, Lena was towed into the small harbour so that her propeller could be welded at low water. The ship was ready again on the evening of the 15th.
