A German convoy came under attack by probable destroyers and motor torpedo boats. Two batteries on Jersey and six on Guernsey provided artillery support, forcing the enemy vessels away. The convoy entered Guernsey; its losses were initially unknown. [T-1022/2175, scans 0128 and 0132]
