13 November 1942 Channel Islands Sea Defence diary
Weather: wind from 80°, 4 metres per second.
On departure in Alderney harbour, motor vessel Lena drifted onto the Krupp bridge under construction owing to wind and sea. A steel hawser became caught in her propeller. No personnel injuries. Diving work was currently impossible because of bad weather. Apart from the continuing Alert Level I, no special occurrences.
