13 March 1944 Naval Artillery Battalion 605 construction report
Batterie Annes, Organisation Todt: the remaining fifteen-man group began clearing the roof of ammunition bunker I because rainwater was seeping through the ceiling. Painting continued in accommodation bunker 4, the fire-control post and ammunition bunker II. The camouflage detachment continued levelling and camouflage.
Battery work: camouflage begun over the excavated trench at searchlight Bruno; excavation resumed at searchlight Anton. Anton placed on a carriage made by the battery. Both KwK turrets set up and connected. New position trenches begun. Battery wire obstacles, levelling and camouflage continued.
Batterie Elsass: wire obstacles and reserve fire-control post continued; all-round defence developed. Artillery command post, Organisation Todt: painting begun; work on hot-water heating and aerial installation; earthwork and insulation. Naval radar: construction of splinter protection. Battalion headquarters: infantry-defence installations developed.
