12 July 1941 Channel Islands Harbour Commandant diary
R 37 and R 38 sailed for Guernsey at 08:15, returned from Guernsey at 13:20, and sailed for St Malo at 13:35.
St Peter Port, 09:45: R 37 and R 38 entered from Jersey. On board were Admiral Schultze; Konteradmiral Litzmann; Vizeadmiral von Fischel with two staff officers; Kapitan zur See Fink; and the Harbour Commandant of the Channel Islands, Korvettenkapitan Freiherr von Nostitz, for an inspection of Guernsey.
