Editorial note: Holland is the vessel prepared for the Guernsey battery transport in the preceding entry.
Windy, overcast, occasional rain. 1330: An English aircraft breaks through the cloud over Cherbourg and drops four bombs on West airfield. The bombs are duds or have long-delay fuzes. Holland cannot sail owing to the weather. Signed Stichling.
