12 August, 01:08: Le Pignon abeam, assembled convoy and commenced passage to Saint Helier under V 206. 05:51: secured in Saint Helier. 20:00, teleprinter from Jersey harbour commandant: escort office orders M 4600, M 4601 and M 4605 to take Guêpe 58, Albos, Guêpe 76 and Alhena-Tonkin from Jersey to Guernsey this evening. 21:35: boats cast off. 22:21: convoy assembled and passage commenced under M 4600's commander. Wind NNW 2–3, sea [figure faint], good visibility. Formation in original. 22:51: passed Ida 5. 23:31: air-raid warning. 23:35: exchanged ES signals. 23:50: passed Point 332. M 4607 ready to sail at Saint-Malo. Signed Hüfner.
