Cloudy, visibility 8 nautical miles, W 3–4, sea 2. 0015: Submarine chasers 1404/11 departed for Guernsey with Robert Müller 8. 0020: HS 192 re-entered, having been unable to hold its patrol position. 2250: HS 135 departed for patrol position. [The convoy departure is also recorded at 2400 on the preceding day; both entries retained.]
