11 June 1944
At 02:26 German patrol craft engaged enemy motor torpedo boats between Cap de la Hague and Guernsey. At 11:46 Battery Annes, Alderney, engaged an enemy destroyer north of the island; it withdrew at high speed under smoke without an observed hit. Six Flying Fortresses over Guernsey were engaged by the anti-aircraft weapons of Batteries Mirus and Steinbruch, which claimed two aircraft shot down.
