Weather: WSW light breeze, overcast, poor visibility, very light to light breeze, intermittent snow [wording as recorded]. V 209/V 208 entered St Malo with Siebel ferry 110 at 15:30. The 3rd Security Division assigned V 211/V 212, ready at Cherbourg, to sea-rescue duty.
Situation: V 207/V 213 boiler cleaning/demagnetisation Brest. V 211/V 212 Guernsey–Cherbourg, then Livadia and Schwalbe to Alderney, returning with Gerfried, Claus and Livadia. V 210 ready St Malo, minor repairs. V 204/V 206 Jersey–St Malo, entered 10:45 with Robert Müller 8, Claus Wilhelm and Adolphe le Prince. V 209/V 208 Guernsey–St Malo, entered 15:30 with ferry 110. V 205 in dock Cherbourg. Escorted tonnage: 8,521 GRT.
Intention for 11 March: V 207/V 213 boiler cleaning/demagnetisation Brest. V 211/V 212 Cherbourg–Alderney with Midsland, returning with Livadia and Claus. V 210/V 208 ready St Malo, troop convoy overnight. V 206/V 204 replenishing provisions and coal; V 209 likewise, with minor repairs. V 205 in dock Cherbourg.
