10 August, 02:05: both boats and convoy entered Saint Peter Port. Wind W 5–6, sea 4–5, cloudy, visibility 10 nautical miles. Order: M 4613 and M 4614 to proceed independently to Jersey, then return with a convoy to Guernsey the same night. 21:30: sailed as ordered. 22:00: task abandoned owing to fog. Wind W 2–3, sea 2, fog, visibility 300–500 metres. 22:20: re-entered Saint Peter Port. Task postponed 24 hours. Signed Fieguth.
