1 August 1941 Channel Islands Harbour Commandant diary

War Diary of the Harbour Commandant, Channel Islands, 1–15 August 1941. Commandant: Korvettenkapitän Freiherr von Nostitz.

St Helier, 19:10: wind north-west force 3, sea state 2, visibility eight nautical miles. Two patrol boats, two tugs and four barges arrived from St Malo carrying an Army battery of three 21-cm mortars. St Peter Port: no incidents.
