We Visit the impressive multi-floored restored M-132 Underground Command Bunker, The MP1 Tower and many more bunkers at this German WW2 Naval Coastal Artillery Battery, as well as many other onsite fortifications. There is a book & militaria shop, and get ‘hands-on’ with WW2 equipment.

Strongpoint Corbiere

Resistance Nest La Mare Mill

Tucked into the wooded slopes above the former La Mare water mill, commanding sweeping views over St Ouen’s Bay and the Val de la Mare reservoir, stands one of Jersey’s many impressive surviving fortifications: the Sechsschartenturm heavy machine-gun turret bunker at Resistance Nest La Mare Mill.

Resistance nest Carriere

Carrière was a German World War II coastal defence resistance nest situated at the southern end of St Ouen’s Bay in Jersey, Channel Islands. It was designed to protect the bay and featured heavily fortified positions, including a Regelbau 631 casemate, anti-tank guns, and a searchlight bunker.

Batterie Moltke
