Jersey was occupied by German Forces for 1,774 days during World War 2 and from July the 1st 2020 we will be releasing a daily update on what happed each day right up to the Liberation 80th
in 2025. This will also include the lead up to the 80th Aniversary of the Normandy invasion in 2024 paving the way for the Liberation and Victory in Europe
Will will be using war diaries, civilian diaries, photos and much more to help educate and share the stories during the 1,774 days of Occupation.
To join and follow this project you need to be a member of the Non-Profit Jersey War Tours. The membership not only funds this project but also the restoration of key WW2 sites, Ongoing maintenance and protection of these sites, 3d scanning of bunkers, research and an online database for generations to come.
